Fics like I’d Give Anything For You

The grip he had on Steve’s shirt was strong as he pinned him to the wall, pulling his clothes tight into his fist. But his eyes… His face was twisted into a scowl as he glared at Steve with everything he had, but when Steve met those big, beautiful, hazel eyes, he didn’t see the anger or viciousness he was clearly trying to portray, he just looked so scared. And Steve’s heart went out to him. It was probably foolish, the guy had him pinned to the wall in his own garage with something sharp pressed against the soft skin of his neck. And yet, the pain and fear he could see in this stranger’s eyes made him just want to gather him close in a hug and let him know that it would all be okay. God, Robin and Max had always said that his bleeding heart would be the death of him. ——————————————————————- Or: Steve comes home from a business trip and finds someone in his garage seeking shelter from a storm.
