Fics like Dark Hours

This fic is on Hiatus, til further notice sry Sure, he’s not looking for love, but is respect too much to ask for? Apparently so, Charlie thinks as he continues to scroll through his messages. He sighs and almost decides to give up on Grindr for the night and switch over to his group chat with his friends. He clicks over to the browse tab again – one last time – and sees someone he definitely hadn’t seen a minute ago. Nick, 23 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Face the world again, firm and courageous. Then all your troubles will fade from your memory like floods that are past and remembered no more Your life will be brighter than sunshine at noon and life's darkest hours will shine like the dawn (Good News Translation, Job 11:15-17) I am not at all religious and neither is this story. But I do believe that sometimes we can find a light in the most abysmal places and we can be that light for someone currently shrouded in darkness. This is a story about the light.
