Fics like Thursday I'm in love.

Jeongguk examines the crowd once more as he makes his way back to the middle, to his opponent, there’s so many faces, they all just mash up together, his vision a little blurry and there’s a ringing in his ear, anxiety high, it gets louder for a second, until he meets his eyes in the sea of people. Then it goes silent. No more ringing, just silence as his eyes keep contact with Taehyung’s. God, he can still remember the first time he saw those gorgeous eyes. He also can identify the rage in them at this moment, directed right at him. Somehow that startles him more than the punch he gets square to his jaw, way too distracted by his gorgeous mate to hear the bell and the whistle, let alone see the hit coming.
