Fics like not to me, not if it's you

Jimin’s face falls as he takes in the red rimming Hoseok’s eyes and the slight swell to his face. “Oh, hyung,” he sighs, deflating. “It’s alright, Jiminie,” Hoseok placates. He wraps up Jimin in the hug that he wanted and starts to kiss his hair, little pecks that always make him laugh. “I’m okay.” “You’ve got to find them, hyung,” Jimin says firmly, pushing back. “You can’t keep going like this.” Hoseok scoffs. “I’m fine. They’re the one in pain.” Jimin rolls his eyes. “You’re not fine. You share the pain. That’s the whole point.” -or- Soulmates are connected through pain. When you hurt, they hurt. It's meant to be a comfort, but it feels like Hoseok's soulmate has more than their fair share of pain. He's waited patiently for 28 years find them, to help them carry their burden, but his soulmate seems to want nothing to do with Hoseok.
