Fics like within the richness of understanding

These are the things that X knows: By trying to destroy Greeza, he inadvertently caused the Ultra Flare that took Daichi’s parents away from him at an early age. The grief that came from it is a responsibility that Daichi had absolved X of and continues to carry into his young adulthood, though it is not so debilitating that it interferes with his affairs. X is a fighter — a defender — by nature. He is unused, and perhaps a little ill-suited, for comfort. Yet X still cares, so he goes to tackle the situation the same way Daichi, with his scientist mind and generous heart, would. (Written for Shuwatch!! Vol. 3)
