Fics like Blue Christmas

Six years after the Battle of Starcourt, Single Dad Alpha!Billy Hargrove returns to Hawkins with his son for a wedding, for Christmas... and to reunite with the Omega he left behind. **** "I thought I’d come back to Hawkins and you’d be one white picket fence away from Ted Wheeler." Billy tried to smile. "Bonded and mated up, two kids, a dog, house in the suburbs, the whole thing." "Yeah well." Steve took a slow drink of his coffee. "I'm not exactly the white picket fence type anymore." "Waiting for the right Alpha?" Billy couldn't help the hope in his voice, but it was dashed when Steve's lip curled in a snarl, "Oh fuck you, Billy Hargrove. You left me." "Omega." Billy shook his head. "Steve, I never meant to--" "Fuck you, Billy Hargrove." Steve repeated in a heartbroken whisper. "You left me." "...I'm here now though."
