Fics like for weak and for strong

They're spending the holiday on borrowed time. Desmond had no idea that the mystery of the Azran would take so long to unearth, and he’d fully expected to have already betrayed them all by Christmas, to have beaten Targent at their own foolish game before the year was over. And so instead of celebrating Christmas with a traditional family unit, Desmond is celebrating with his brother who has no idea he’s related to him, said brother’s university assistant, his butler, a twelve-year-old who, frankly, should be with his own parents instead of travelling the world, the emissary of an ancient civilisation, and a cat. …Well. He supposes the holidays are different for everyone. or: the bostonius crew spend christmas together.
