Fics like you don't know me. but i know you.

“Hello.” It’s late at night on Asgard, and Loki is staring at himself from across the room. A younger him, who looks like he’s seen a ghost. Loki supposes he has. All he can do is smile at the steps taken backwards, at the hand reaching back into the knife sheath by his left thigh, at the same face glaring back at his own. “Who are you?” his younger self asks, taking steps forward now, lifting his head in perfect regal posture. He schools the reactionary fear in his face into something cold and haughty, sneering disgust at Loki standing before him. “You’re not supposed to be here.” Loki smiles, wistful. “I suppose not.” A post-s2 Loki visits Thor1! Loki and tells him it's going to be okay, but he's not going to get anything he thinks he wants.
