You’d think the citizens in this facility would be more grateful. I am, after all, the one who authorized its existence.” Julian snorted. --- In a Post-war Cardassian state, Garak has won an extremely rigged election with the help of starfleet, and become the Castellan. Determined as he is to enact change for the better on his war-torn planet, Garak is distracted by a certain Starfleet-sent relief worker–and his impending departure. Garak tries desperately to woo Julian, fix his planet, and maybe (just maybe) achieve forgiveness. Meanwhile, Julian dreads returning to his former assignment aboard a space station that no longer feels like home, and deals with a hospital full of co-workers who are convinced he's shagging the ex-Order Castellan, who they're all utterly terrified of. What happens if he wants them to be right?
