Fics like chicken soup

He attempted to sit up, attempting to push himself off the couch, but he was met with a very firm hand, shoving him back down on the couch. The wind was nearly knocked out of his lungs as the hand remained on his chest, forcing him to keep his torso glued to the couch. “Down.” It was a command that came from the diaphragm. “Stay.” Very quickly, Rody stilled. Still panting and wide-eyed, his eyes adjusted to the darkness and searched the figure’s features for anything familiar and recognizable. His front-door was open, the hallway light illuminating the back of the figure, casting a shadow across his front. And, as his eyes adjusted, he could only stare in shock when he realized that the figure holding him down was none other than Vince. “Vince…?” — Rody gets sick. Vince thinks Rody died and goes to his apartment to nurse him back to health.
