Fics like and if your reflection is mine

“Even if he couldn’t sleep at night, Pers still gazed upon the moon and felt happiness under its glow. He felt that if nothing else, he lived to look upon the moon and dream.” Freminet’s voice cracks. “No matter how broken his wings and snarled his springs, Pers always dreamt of heroes.” The deeper Freminet dives, the deeper he dreams. Far below the waves, Freminet meets the god Focalors, who poses him a question: why does Freminet believe in the world? If thinly veiled fairy tales make up their reality, then Freminet compiles a series of Fontaine’s hopes. (OR: Maybe he is too sensitive, maybe he’s still stuck in dreamland, and love is not enough, but Freminet is determined to try.)
