There's a saying known by many: Never mess with a Nanba Guard. This was first popularized when Samon Gokuu nearly broke the hand of a man for getting in between him and his morning fix of coffee during an international conference. More than a few officials had gone straight to the Nanba Warden to complain, but all they were met with was a dismissive look and a, “What? He didn’t have the sense to move out of the way?” If that's how they behaved with each other, how the hell did they treat their inmates??? Pretty alright actually, according to Mitsuru. It was just all the isolation that made them like this to each other.
