Maybe it’s the Universe or Fate, or maybe Peeta somehow knows how his own story will end, but he doesn’t turn away. - Katniss is eight the first time she finds a Ghost. Her father is off digging through the earth, looking for her namesake, when a feeling of wrongness catches her off guard. For a moment there’s nothing. Then she sees a boy, who has no place in the forest, standing by a tree, bruises around his neck, peeking out from beneath his collar. (Or Katniss and Peeta can see ghosts, some things change for the better, some things don’t)
