Fics like The Boy Who Lived With Dragons.

When Harry is dumped by Vernon Dursley as unwanted trash, he is found by the most wonderful mother a little scared, unwanted and wounded boy could wish for. The start of a new life with new challenges but it's a happy and humble life until the day he turns 11 (not that he is aware of that fact) and his whole life is turned upside down again but he has his family at his side and newly found friends.
