Fics like Waltz with Death

Skirk is a warrior. A swordswoman. A fighter. She is not cut out for frivolous social events - especially ones where she has to play as a politician. aka What if the Tsaritsa diplomatically invited all of the nations and asked for their gnoses instead of conspiring and infiltrating their nations to steal them? (A submission for the event "An Abyssal Ball" in the Skirk Mains Discord server, in celebration for reaching 1k members! The prompt was: "In the writing segment, you will write a short fanfiction (around 2k words is recommended, but there is no set limit) themed around Skirk, and in a ball setting, if you can, but it is not compulsory." As you can see by the word count, I've surpassed the word limit by a decent margin, but I've written something I'm pretty proud of, so it's fine ~)
