Fics like Can I try again, try again, try again?

Mobius's patience runs out, and in his eagerness to close the gap he mashes his nose and jaw into Loki's, making Loki wince. Mobius pulls back, cringing. "Sorry, sorry didn't do that right—" he mumbles, seeming ready to give up just from that, but Loki grabs his tie, tugs him closer again. "Can…can we try again?" Loki whispers, trying and failing to sound normal about any of this, to act like someone who doesn't want this far more than they probably should. Mobius inhales, seems to sense the shaky desperation in Loki's voice even as Loki does his best to smooth out the ripples. "—Okay."
