Daisuke and Lupin figure out how to emotionally re-attach themselves. “Horny and suicidal," Lupin hums. "Isn't that what all teens are, nowadays?” Daisuke can't find a reason to argue, so he keeps quiet. He wasn't as keen to have sex as a younger kid, and he definitely wasn't so okay with dying either. He remembers what it feels like to be a child who couldn't understand the concept of suicide, let alone why anyone would feel compelled to willingly kick the bucket. Now that he's a little older, he has, on multiple accounts, found himself longing for the sweet release that is death. With a frown, Daisuke realizes that he really isn't a kid, not like he was before.
