Fics like I'll Be Good to You

Rocky picks him up at the airport. Sporting a smug grin, all cool ease, leaned against the wall by baggage claim. Apollo’s heart races. “Have a good flight?” “Not particularly. Had a headache the whole time.” “Aw, m’sorry. I gotta couple aspirin in the car if you want ‘em.” No manner of pain relievers would alleviate his headache. Because its cause is here in front of him. A less than ostentatious fellow by the name of Rocky Balboa. Set apart from the rest by his downright sickening doggedness. That and his questionable fashion choices. A black fedora atop his head, obnoxious jacket with a tiger on the back, fingerless gloves, and what looks to be a studded dog collar for a bracelet. Apollo can’t believe this is the person he’s spent five months pining for. (Or how heavyweight champion Apollo Creed falls for the unlikeliest person, and what comes with it.)
