Fics like The Crest of Dreams

When Damian found out his family never loved him and his best friend never considered him as a friend. Just someone they had to deal with. All his dreams were shattered - a loving family, friends, and having a life he never got to experienced. He realized that no matter where he went, he was considered as someone who shouldn't be bothered with. Damian thought he was going to live his days being unloved by the people around him and not worth of everyone's time. He thought his dreams were gone forever. Then suddenly, a strange egg came out of his computer with an odd looking device and a strange necklace with a strange symbol.
