Fics like This Feels Different

A woman finds herself in the world of One Piece. Portgas D. Rouge mistakes her for a fortune teller and asks for a different fate for her son. She's not sure why she agrees to take him. (Okay, that's a lie. Ace's life is a goddamn tragedy and he deserved better.) The miscalculation becomes obvious when she understands how terrible of a life simple, powerless civilians lead here. All the woman can do is rely on her wits, the vague future of this world she remembers, a parlor trick with Tarot cards and a hope for some luck. She will take on different names and identities, cheat and lie and bargain to move Ace from Baterilla to East Blue. (and maybe also accidentally change a few other kids' futures as well)
