Fics like Days of Reformation

It is the year 1555. Queen Mary I of England had married King Philip of Spain and Spanish influence swept through the nation in a feverish pitch to rid the land of heretics and crush the opposing faction of the Catholic church. A young knight who loathes his job, a starving artist, an informed cofferer and two lads in disguise for the sake of their life find their world is soon spiraling out of proportion in ways which none had ever imagined. As their very relations begin to unravel all they have ever stood for and more, each of them must choose which holds the most value, be it love, friendship, religion or loyalty to the crown if they wish to survive and keep themselves adrift in the sea of blood during this trying era. In this developing tale, follow our beloved fandom friends as they meet head to head with the terrors of 15th century England and traverse the long winding road which eventually leads to their strange yet solidified union which is the very reason they become undone, where upholding one's morality above those of great influence could mean the difference between life and death in ways splintered beyond prospective.
