Fics like Fate

Trust is not a coin that Victor Saltzpyre deals in, preferring to treat his retinue (whenever he has one) as expendable assets rather than trusted companions. However, with his Order turning a blind eye to the skaven threat, and he and four other warriors are all that stand between Ubersreik and utter annihilation, he finds that he is forced to re-evaluate his closely held principles. A story of how the Ubersreik Five met, from Victor Saltzpyre’s perspective.
