Fics like Electric Excavations

You've been chosen as the next Ship's Archaeologist, heading the department under the supervision of Lieutenant Commander Data (the ships Chief Science/Operations Officer and third in command) It's an exciting opportunity and a rare one for you as a civilian. One you can't wait to explore to it's fullest potential. Data x Reader (x Lore eventually?) Slow burn. Like suuuuper slow. This is basically slice of life/self insert self indulgence. It'll get smutty at points eventually but you're gonna have to earn it ;)) You've been warned. This story takes place within established canon (to a point) while adding slice of life and other story elements. Chapters based on episodes are named the same as those episodes. Bonus points for watching the episode recently or knowing it well enough to catch the references. New readers and positive comments always welcome!
