Fics like a new normal

“I’m thinking about starting a podcast so everyone has a chance to have their voice heard. What do you think?” “I think,” Peter begins, grabbing her hand, “that it’s a great idea, and I will help you with whatever you want. I can run your Twitter account for you.” “I can run my own account,” MJ laughs a little, but she asks again: “You don’t think it’s a bad idea? It’s just so unreliable, and I know I said I’d help with the mortgage and this isn’t the fixed income—” “Hey, it’s okay,” Peter reassures her. “If this is what you want to do, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t be a great idea. I’ll help you gain traction. Not to brag, but I know a guy with almost twenty million Twitter followers.” “Oh, yeah. The real reason I date you. Spider-Man Twitter clout.” “Wow, I totally meant this guy called BKLYNSpider42, but I see how it is!” After everything dies down, MJ and Peter need to come to terms with their 'new normal' - and how that affects them.
