Fics like Hostage Rescue

Gaz had his hands splayed out at his sides, his body loose and pliant as the arm around his neck tightened, the frantic breaths of his captor hot against the back of his head. It was weird how detached he felt, how oddly calm he was despite the gun that was firmly pressed to his skin. He dragged his feet back, one step and another, careful to keep his balance as the bastard manhandled him backwards. Price and Soap were right there, barely fifteen metres away, their guns trained on the captor – and him, since he was quite literally being used as a human shield. It wasn’t one of his proudest moments.
