Fics like Because I Have Been Given Much

Tony Stark never expected to find another captive of the Ten Rings besides Yinsen, a twelve year old boy. The newly minted Iron Man embarks on a perilous mission to protect and heal the badly broken boy he suddenly finds himself responsible for, from both friend and foe alike. But protecting the boy is harder than expected, especially when he discoveres the boy is an alien from another world no one has ever heard of; who's blood can heal or kill anyone who touches it. Can Tony truely protect this child from men wanting to use the mystical and powerful supstances in his blood for their own nefarious purposes? Even from his own government? Tony has never cared about anyone else than himself. And he suddenly finds himself in unknown territory. Standing by the boy means opening fire on his own planet in defense of an alien. But as Tony starts to love the kid as his own son can he give him up when mysterious, spandex wearing individuals show up claiming to be the boy's family?
