Fics like Who Framed Alex Horne?

It's a dark, rain-slicked night, when private investigator, Danny Davies, hears the doorbell ring. He hopes it's a job – my god he needs one – and it is, but it's also not what he expected at all... A silly one-shot riffing off Who Framed Roger Rabbit because why not? Tall, sure, that I got on the money, but the slow creaking reveal shows blue fabric, that elbow leaning on the door frame, that canted hip in the same, slinky blue, resolving into a two piece cerulean suit, gold shoes, a greying auburn beard that fails to hide faintly pouty lips and above them, sparkling, half-hooded, blue eyes too big for his face that all add up to one thing; there’s a toon at my door. A toon who seems to be trying his best – and to be clear, his best is not good – at striking a seductive pose in my doorway. My eyebrow takes the express lift to the penthouse, and I guess I’ll have to say something. “Can I… help you, Mr…?”
