Fics like An Excuse

Professor Graham would normally at least glance up at the sound of students coming in, though he would never look any in the eye. Today, he didn’t so much as flinch. Students settled in their seats, laptops and notebooks in hand, getting themselves mentally prepared for whatever they were about to face. The second the screen before them clicked on, they had a guess as to why Professor Graham was in such a sour mood. Technically, they were not wrong. “Over the weekend,” he began, loud and just as tense as always, if not more, “the Chesapeake Ripper began another sounder. Or so investigators believe.” -------- When weekend plans get pushed aside in favor of an opportunity to kill an old target, Will decides that the only way Hannibal can learn a lesson is through indignity.
