Fics like to wear your wrists unfastened

“It's called hunter green,” the shop assistant tells him cheerfully as she shoves his purchases into a bag. Valjean, Javert, and yards upon yards of ribbon. That’s it. That’s the entire fic. Treat for Esteliel for Trick or Treat 2015. Kind of a coda to empire of dirt, the other fic written for this exchange, or an AU of that AU. You don’t need to read that one if you want to read this one. Title bastardised from Much More from The Fantasticks soundtrack.
