Fics like An Unexpected Visit from Carmen

Idea for the scene taken from Normal People, where a bloodied Connell interrupts Marianne’s dinner party because he was mugged and needed a place to go. No spoilers for either Normal People or The Bear. In my version, a bloodied Carmen interrupts your family Christmas dinner and you enjoy sorting him out.
