"Thanks to the bet on my hand, it's something relatively simple: if you beat me in a game of chess, you become my fiancée," Annabel stroked her chin, Lenore kissed her hand, "we could choreograph a game of memorized moves." Lenore stood, her eyes lost somewhere in the room. Then she looked at Annabel, who had taken a seat on the edge of the mattress. "Or I can beat you in a game," she said firmly.
