John confesses that he knows what his sons do in the dark, in the next bed over when they think he is passed out. They were sure that it would turn into a bloodied screaming match but they couldn't be more wrong. (I hate summarizing my own fics) *** “How long you boys gonna keep pretending that you were just wrestling?” John mutters, his voice echoing in the glass as he nurses his drink, barely able to take his eyes off his sons. Sam and Dean can feel the way they both go tense to the comment; Sam can feel Dean’s heart ricocheting into his back as he holds his breath, unsure where their father was going with this. “Wha - what are you…” Dean stutters. John molds his hand to the bulge in his jeans, palming himself languidly. “Cut the bullshit you two. You think I’m deaf, dumb and blind?" (Sam is 14, Dean is 18, John is about 45ish) *** Thank you AGAIN to my wonderful friend and beta @thejewishcatinthehat. You are amazing. *** Written over 3 days, once the idea grabbed me, I just had to go with it. Rarely can I start AND finish a fic in such a short amount of time.
