Fics like Roses are Red

| Canon AU | Season 4/5 | Rosalie Delacour was a seventeen-year-old ballerina when she was sold into a marriage agreement with a New York gangster; she was twenty years old when she ran from New York City and fled to Britain, where she eventually met the infamous gang, the Peaky Blinders, run by Tommy Shelby with an iron fist. Rosalie was always taught that a woman should be demure and submissive to the men in her life, but with mafia blood from multiple bloodlines running through her veins, with the help of Tommy, Rosalie learns that she is capable of being much more than a simple housewife, a pretty ballerina. She can be dark and deadly too. Every king needs a queen, and just like in the game of chess, while the king is the ultimate deciding factor, the queen is the most powerful piece on the board. “I love you as one loves certain dark things, secretly, between the shadow and the soul" ~ Pablo Neruda
