Minho wondered if fish-folk could blush, if their blood ran red or not. “...Hyunjin keeps trying to take a bite out of me, both physically and metaphorically.” He sighed long-sufferingly. “H-he does?” Jisung snapped in alarm, body straightening up from his slouch in the water. “Yeah, but I tell him no, I don't have a death wish.” “Don't let him bite you, Minho.” Jisung sounded so serious. It was too cute. “Of course I wouldn't,” Minho laughed, “I’m not into sirens anyway.” “You're not? What are you into?” Jisung asked eagerly. “Oh I don't know...” - Monstera Creek, home to the monstrous, the slimy and now… Minho. When Minho is sent to Monstera Creek as a government liaison, he expected the usual monstrous shenanigans of such an assignment, what he didn’t expect was to meet Jisung. A goofy, sweet monster hybrid with a fascination for human life. Over a whirlwind month, Minho discovers more about ‘monsters’ than he ever planned, and a little about himself along the way.
