Fics like what kind of day has it been?

It’s been nearly two years since the leak of the so-called Waterloo Letters and Alex and Henry are doing their best to live their lives on their own terms. But between the pressures of American politics, their increasing frustration with the Palace along with the harassment of the British tabloids and strangers who hate them for no reason, it feels like it’s impossible for them to move forward. When someone opens fire at a political event ahead of the midterm elections, their life is once again thrown into chaos and they start to question if they’ll ever find the peace they so desperately want or if they’ll cave under the weight of it all.
