But he’s holding Buck’s arm tight enough to hurt, and there’s blood on his face and his eyes are wild as he yanks them both across the street in a dozen stumbling steps and shoves Buck against the side of the engine, and there really aren’t a lot of other explanations for what the hell is happening right now.
