Fics like The Prince, the Pirate, and the Pariah

Sinbad and Marina sail off into the sunset, leaving Proteus behind, but all is not well in paradise. Marina pushes Sinbad to reconsider his relationship with Proteus, but when Eris visits in a (sexy) vision, Sinbad distracts himself by vowing to block her influence, which conveniently requires returning to Syracuse. Once there, the Proteus problem can't be avoided. Angst ensues, but the three more-than-friends ultimately help each other find their happily ever after. CA: Homophobia - conflict includes gay denial/realization, with brief references to period-typical homophobia. No overt insults or aggression. Proud ending guaranteed. :)
