Fics like Anything Is Paw-ssible

“What?” Alex asks, laughing in disbelief. “Little David ran inside when we were out the back. He knows his way back to my apartment, but I go to the door and surprise, surprise, he is nowhere in sight. So I panic and then I hear a barking coming from your apartment and I come here and it seems like you have dognapped my dog,” he says it all in one breath and even David looks concerned for his owner there. The man crouches down and puts David on the floor, smoothing his fur. Alex, doesn’t appreciate being accused of something he didn’t do and maybe it is because he’s been having a shitty day regardless, but he blows up as well. “I am NOT a dognapper, your dog just seems to like me,” Alex protests, fuming at the audacity of this complete stranger. “Maybe you just need to look after your dog better and make sure he doesn’t run off.” The blond gasps indignantly and covers his dog’s ears as if this conversation will potentially hurt David and Alex would find the whole thing comical if he wasn’t livid. “He was barking, so he obviously didn’t come in here willingly.” OR Alex finds a beagle in his apartment one day. His new neighbor accuses him of stealing his dog.
