Fics like makes you wanna run and hide, but it makes us turn right back around

Peter sits back up to lean against the back of the seat again, and the nurse gently places a paper cup of water in his hand. Peter’s grateful that she doesn’t try to speak to him as he catches his breath, she just fetches a clean container for Peter to use in case he needs to puke again and takes away the trashcan. The sips of cool water are something for Peter to focus on, and he tries to stay in that mental zone for as long as possible, tuning out everything else. As he does, he realizes there’s only one person who could A) be his secondary contact, and B) get across Midtown in twenty minutes in the middle of the day. Mr. Stark. . . . Peter has sensory overload at school, and Mr. Stark comes to pick him up. Good thing Mr. Stark is a suprisingly good mentor.
