Fics like electric high in the sky

Under the broken sky of Shattered Tokyo, Makoto navigates changing powers, evolving feelings and the consequences of his actions. “That’s new,” another voice joined the conversation, YamaSho had limped over with Kaisei. Kaisei seemed to be supporting YamaSho almost more than YamaSho was supporting himself and he looked as concerned as Makoto felt, but YamaSho had more important concerns. “Still going by the split building?” Kazuma’s head whipped back to Makoto, all expression dropping off his face, his eyes locked on Makoto's. It was a disconcerting feeling, seeing his expressive brother go blank like that, and a sign that Kazuma wasn't happy about what YamaSho had just suggested. Makoto winced, knowing that would come up. He hadn’t told them he was still taking the shortcut. Kazuma’s eyes were boring into him and he couldn’t figure out what to say - sorry, I know you asked me to stop, but it was the safest option? I had my reasons, I made my own decision, I’m sorry it’s not the one you wanted?
