Humanity is far from home and few truly remember. For twenty years, humanity has been under the watchful eyes of their Salikik overlords. Psychic aliens that can peer into the thoughts of man like an open book. Archard has never known life outside the compound he's called home. When Archard's childhood friend and Salikik Aimi leaves to protect him from an unknown threat, Archard is determined to prove that he can live outside the walls. When the opportunity arrives years later, he's thrust into a world nothing could have prepared him for. Now hunted by those he called friends, Archard has to navigate the alien world that so many had tried to shield him from with humanity's fate hanging in the balance.
