Fics like King of the Wild

The Hyrulian royal family passes down power from mother to daughter, a bloodline that has gone unbroken for millennia. In the rare instance a son was born to the family they would not be recognized as a prince. Instead they would be fostered by a royal knight and his family. This was seen as a far more kind outcome than the old practice of infanticide practiced before the era of the Hero of Legend. When Hyrule falls to the Calamity so to die the old ways, the old laws, the old religion. The people of this new Hyrule see no reason to cling to archaic traditions when the one that helped stop the Calamity and save Hyrule would have been scorned. Instead they embrace him and support him. Efforts to rebuild have begun and the Chain show up to add Wild to their group.
