Fics like 'tis the damn season

Taylor Swift left her hometown after high school and never looked back. Her future was set in her mind. Go to college, play shows in Nashville, get discovered, and make it big in music. But when her mom gets sick and she leaves her record deal unsigned, Taylor finds herself back in the last place she ever expected. Nothing ever changes in Clarksville, and when people make it out, they tend to stay gone. So Karlie Kloss is surprised when her high school crush shows up in a dive bar five years after graduation. If anyone could make it out, it would have been Taylor, so what would bring her back? And more importantly, what could possibly make her stay? There's a long plan to this story, and I hope you can all buckle up and join me, because love comes when we least expect it, and sometimes it's the people you overlook that end up changing your life.
