Fics like Kolinahr Crimes

A lecherous monk telepathically abuses Spock by exploiting his sexual thoughts about Jim while he is undergoing Kolinahr training in Gol. When Spock falls ill with an unexplained paralysis, he’s transported to a hospital in Shi’Kahr where Dr. M’Benga now works. Unable to move or speak, Spock learns to trust the staff priest who counsels him to embrace his love for Jim. Light years away, Captain Kirk is commanding a 2nd five-year mission on the Enterprise. During a diplomatic stop at Eminiar VII, he and Bones learn of Spock’s paralysis and work to find a cure. *** “The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions.” ~ Alfred Lord Tennyson
