Fics like Topiary

There is a grey and empty Hogwarts. It is cold, quiet and strange. In it, a boy wanders aimlessly like a dreamer, thoughts slow and memories just out of reach… Until one day, a flower grows from the crack in a wall, blooming in shades of white, black and red. At the start of his Second Year at Hogwarts, when Harry is given a curiosity — an enchanted diary, his interest is piqued. It’s not too long later that he begins filling the diary with things that would not magically disappear or get absorbed by the pages — chalk-and-charcoal botanical drawings and pressed flowers... Then, one day, he suddenly recalls something the twins told him several months ago, something he somehow forgot — the diary is a diary that writes back. Note: This can either be read as a standalone fic or as an AU of the Wildewoods Book.
