Fics like Like a Seed Dropped by a Skybird

Link is a failure. It’s something he’s always known, he thinks, deep down within himself. A heavy feeling it is: failure. It seeps in through his nose, clogging his throat and making it impossible to breathe, swirling around his temples and bringing a constant ache, settling into his stomach with a weight that brings him to his knees. It loops around his arms, his fingers, holding him in its clutches until he can do nothing but succumb. Here, in this space between light and dark, this pocket of in between realities, he succumbs. He falls, down and down and down, plummeting to a dark sea. Black and red. Blood and deep, deep water. But Link does not sink. No, he walks. That feeling, horrible and domineering, pulls him like a puppet along the raging sea. In which the Chain meets after the events of Tears of the Kingdom and Sky is the last to join. It takes time for trust to be earned, especially with added confusion regarding the Goddess and timelines. You know the drill.
