Fics like I, Carrion (Don’t Fall Away From Me)

“Crowley?” He couldn’t bring himself to turn toward the sound for fear of discovering that it was a figment of his imagination. Was Aziraphale really here? After all this time? Staring down at his hands, he responded with one shaky word. “A-Angel?” He could practically hear the smile in Aziraphale’s voice, tone lilting in that simultaneously endearing and infuriating way it always did. “Oh, Crowley! I’m so glad to see you!” He felt a presence settle onto the bench next to him, and only then did he allow himself to look. His angel really was here. Once blue eyes were now purple, but he was still undeniably Aziraphale. He kept his gaze steadily fixed on the other being. “What do you want?” *** Seven months after their disastrous separation, an apologetic Aziraphale seeks out Crowley and they finally, finally talk. Or: A short post-Season 2 fix it with a happy ending. !! Some cursing and mentions of alcohol dependence !! Title and lyrics from the song “I, Carrion (Icarian)” by Hozier.
