Fics like Killer Rage (at one specific Brian Ponty)

Forrest Nash is feeling great. A week after dealing with the whole Whistling Man fiasco, the town is back to normal, and so is his job as 'The Scream's' host. Aside from gaining a bit of popularity around town (as if that was something new), his life was back to the daily hustle bustle. But what he doesn't expect is the stress of the nightmare-induced day to come back to haunt him in the shape of other problems... mostly in his dreams. Said dreams including things like-- pizzas, wedding bells, and maybe Peggy laughing along sweetly with the owner of the local pizza restaurant. Scratch that, Forrest is dead tired. He was sure the Whistling Man had taken a couple of years off his lifespan by simply existing (the next couple years would probably fall victim to Ponty) or, Forrest is still not completely over the past events, and when a particularly disturbing dream leaves his brain short-fused, Peggy tries to cheer him up. With coupons to a free meal at Ponty's of course. The very bane of Forrest's existence, he decides. //A fluffy three-shot.
