Fics like One dragon's trash is another dragon's treasure

(SPOILERS FOR 4.0 FONTAINE ARCHON QUEST) You see, Zhongli had (with proper consent, obviously. He wasn’t a neanderthal) given Childe a small Liyuean ring that he now wore everywhere. Even though the ring looked fantastic and unintrusive in Childe’s outfit, it served another purpose. “It has adepti powers imbued within, think of the traveler’s serenitea pot for reference. Its purpose is to keep us connected for the future, for the moment you are to depart from Liyue. My hope is that you will wear the ring and remember that no matter how far away you may lead your battles, there will always be someone gazing down on you with warmth” Or Zhongli's little romantic gesture to care for Childe backfires when the man actually gets endangered by another dragon.
