“You’re kidding me,” Dean says flatly. “Do I look like I’m kidding you?” Missouri asks, raising her eyebrows at him. “Missouri—” “Headmaster Mosely to you, boy,” she snaps, and there’s just enough reverb to her voice that Dean’s tail twitches out from behind his ankles and slaps its spade-shaped tip around in front of his knee, tightening to a sharp point. She doesn’t even look down as she adds, “And you’re going to want to put that away.” Dean slumps into the chair, his black tail draping pathetically off the seat like a dead snake rather than curling itself up properly behind him, and sighs. “Really?” he asks, a little more quietly. “Castiel? You’re asking me to tutor Castiel?"
